What is Moos?

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

In short, moos is a word.  But, of course, moos is so much more than just a word.

Moos is a philosophy.

Moos is a way of life.

Moos is a multi-faceted adjective.

Moos is somebody’s last name.

Moos is a good thing.

Moos is a bad thing.

Moos is the Alpha and the Omega.

Moos is so moos.

Really, though - enough of this poetic nonsense.  Moos is a word to be used like any other.  The trick is to make it work for you - to integrate it into your vocabulary for best use.

There are really no rules for how to use moos in a sentence, though the truth is the word does have a reputation for leaning towards the negative.

For example, when expressing “That’s moos” - rarely is the connotation positive.  Generally, something “moos” is something bad.  There’s no real explanation for this phenomenon, though many practitioners of moos will argue that the word’s guttural sound lends itself easily to the dark side.

That said, I would never discourage anyone from using moos in a positive sense.  More on that point in a future post.
